June 3rd, Men's Club Meeting & 9-Hole Tournament

MEETING NOTES:

We currently have 95 members, with an average 18 hole index of 20.1 (The national average is only 16, so we need to work on getting ours lower). KEEP PRACTICING EVERYONE, or maybe we just need to put those drivers away on the shorter par 4's.

Upcoming JUNE Tournaments:

• 6/8 - AWAY @ RiverRidge G.C., 9 am
• 6/29 - HOME, President's Cup Match Play Qualifier. The 8 low net scores in each flight will move on to a single elimination match play format. The FIRST Round matches will be Sunday, 7/12. The SECOND Round matches will be Sunday, 7/19 and the FINAL Round matches will be Sunday, 7/26. All matches will be played at the June qualifying handicap.

Upcoming 2 Day AWAY Fall Tournament:

The tournament has been scheduled for September 20th & 21st. Saturday's round will be at the new Celebrity Course at Indian Wells (home of the 2007 Skins game). On Sunday, we will return to Desert Willow Golf Resort and play their other 18, the Firecliff Course (Voted 4.5 stars & one of the "Best Places to Play" by Golf Digest).
