John Wright Memorial
MVMGC has voted to purchase a plaque for John Wright to be placed at the 7th Tee Box.
We will pay for the palque from our operating budget but will hold a 50/50 closie contest every week at the 18th Hole to offset the cost. Particiaption is voluntary. Excellent idea submitted by Ralph Corona and unanimously approved by all present.

Toler,
1) Does that mean Frank Manzano is twice as good as Whitney and he's 50% better than you???
2) How can Manzano be three times better than you? You can hit it just as far, so where's the problem? You can't tell me it takes 3 times as many shots to get to the green from the next fairway over.
the reality of those handicaps that you speak of equate to the following....Frank fucks up half as much as Whitney and 66% less than me....Golf is not about how good you are it is the quality of your bad shots that determine how good you really are...which is why i shot 91 on day one and 80 on day 2 of the club championship
Or, it could be that Whitney is only better than Toler, 50% of the time. I shot lower than you (79) on day one and higher than you (84) on day two. That being said, all we really know is that Frank is kickin' both our butts. I guess there's nothin' wrong with gettin' beat by the Club Champ, IF YA DON"T LIKE MONEY!!!
